Information for tour operators and visitors of National Park "Pripyatsky"
The initiative to develop eco-tourism appeared in 1996. Since that time the park management and staff, including rangers, scientists and employees of the tourism department, have been making their joint efforts in order to promote highly professional and successful eco-tours. National Park "Pripyatsky" successfully cooperates with western tour operators.
Accomodation

Accomodation
There are a few tourist bases in the heart of National Park "Pripyatsky" with its virgin nature. Each of these bases is unique in its location and fits the most demanding customer. Comfortable sleeping rooms and cozy dining rooms make it possible to relax after sightseeing. Most residential tourist complexes are remote from the noise of civilization. In close proximity to the bases there are a huge number of birds including hoopoes, many kinds of woodpeckers, red-backed shrikes, black redstarts, nightingales, bluethroats and black storks.

Meals
Breakfast and dinner are cooked in a traditional distinctive style and usually served for groups of eco-tourists directly in the tourist complexes. Lunch is usually taken out in order not to interrupt the day tour and not to return to the base. Personal wishes of clients are taken into account.
Transport
There are several eight-seater buses and a comfortable twenty-seater bus for long trips in National Park "Pripyatsky". Cars are used for short distance trips. Cars are suitable for observing wildlife while traveling to a place of excursions.
There are comfortable boats for up to 6 people for water trips. The boats can easily enter any lagoon. There are small motor ships for sightseeing tours on the Pripyat. The boats can be used as floating hotels thanks to comfortable cabins available on board.

Service personnel
There are interpreters from German, Polish and English in order to work with groups of eco-tourists from abroad. Specialists including a highly professional team of scientists and rangers accompany tourist groups along the tour route, showing the most interesting habitat of different species.
