Tour 1
Spring ornithological tour
(the end of April - early June)
The best time for nesting birds is from late March to early June. The beginning of this period is advantageous for the demonstration of woodpeckers, cranes, white - tailed eagles and eagle owls.

We offer an approximate program of the spring tour.
Day 1:


Day 2:
· An excursion to the flood lands showing ruffs, tereks, little and black terns, whiskered terns, black-tailed godwits, wood sandpipers and ring dotterels. (photo)
· Lunch is served outdoors to the accompaniment of a friendly chorus of frogs and trills of skylarks.
· Afternoon – a sightseeing tour to the Museum of Nature, where you can see all the diversity of flora and fauna of the park.
· Immediately after the museum - a journey to the bridge across the Pripyat. It offers not only a spectacular view of the surrounding area, but also gives a good opportunity to observe bluethroats and penduline tits in their natural habitat. (photo)
· In the evening, after a short rest and dinner – a tour for all comers to see and listen to owls (eagle-owls, pygmy-owls, tawny owls and others).
Day 3:
- This day is meant for excursions to the woods. You can watch white-collared flycatchers, pied flycatchers, red-breasted flycatchers, nuthatches, treecreepers, grosbeaks, marsh tits, green sandpipers and up to 7 species of woodpeckers.

- Lunch usually takes place in a summerhouse next to the oak forest, which allows you to watch birds.
- After lunch – a walk through the pine forest. During this tour you can see a large number of dragonflies, butterflies and a number of plants including tuberiferous toothworts, butterfly orchids and the European pinesap (hipopitus monotropa).
Day 4:
· An excursion by boat to the habitats of azure tits of mountain taiga species, which does not nest in Western Europe. On floodplain meadows you can also see black storks, which hunt for amphibians and fish. Garganeys, shovelers, pintails and bluebills appear over tranquil backwaters. There are soaring white-tailed eagles, spotted eagles and marsh harriers in the sky. Falcons fly swiftly. (photo)
· Lunch takes place on the river bank. After lunch you will enjoy a boat trip to the colony of common herons and cormorants.

Day 5:
· In the morning after a short walk in the neighborhood you are invited to go to the high bog, where you will find not rich, but peculiar vegetation and amazing scenery. (photo)


· During a stopover you will visit the habitats of azure tits. While the group is walking, a delicious fish soup and shish kebabs are being prepared right there on the river bank.


Day 6:

After lunch the group travels by boat to the flood-plain oak forests and meadows. On the flood-plain meadows you can see ruffs, tereks, ring plovers, marsh sandpipers, little, black and whiskered terns, black-tailed godwits, catchers, great white herons and others. While walking there is a good opportunity to observe the living nest of white-tailed eagles.
