General information

In the south of Belarus on the area of ​​6.1 million hectares there is a part of the spacious Polesie lowland. It stretches from east to west for more than 500 km. Polesie is a wonderful region of lowlands and plains, forests and swamps, a huge number of rivers and streams, carrying their waters into the Pripyat and the Dnieper, flowing into the Black Sea.

In the middle course of the Pripyat there is Polesie of the Pripyat. National Park "Pripyatsky" is situated in the interfluve of the Pripyat, the Stviga and the Ubort.
